On the greekness of Macedonia…

Some time ago a friend of mine commented on a statement of mine concerning the Greekness of Macedonia by saying: I am stating Professors’ opinions, not opinions of Karakitsos…

Οδηγίες προς Νεοσύλλεκτους φαντάρους!

Με αφορμή το γεγονός ότι εγώ παρουσιάστηκα στο στρατό πρόσφατα και το ότι ένας καλός μου φίλος παρουσιάζεται σε λίγες μέρες σκέφτηκα να γράψω το συγκεκριμένο post. Απευθύνεται σε άτομα που έχουν σκοπό να πάνε στο στρατό (ασχέτως του τι θητεία κάνουν, μειωμένη ή όχι) για να περάσουν καλά, να ζήσουν μία αξέχαστη εμπειρία και να κάνουν φίλους. Δεν επιθυμώ να βοηθηθεί από αυτό το Post κανένα ΒΥΖΜΑ που θα βάζει λυτούς και δεμένους για να βγαίνει αυτός και να κάνουν υπηρεσίες τα άτομα που είναι μαζί του στο θάλαμο, δεν επιθυμώ να βοηθηθούν αυτοί οι οποίοι πριν πανε στο στρατό σπάνε τα τηλέφωνα για να πάρουν μετάταξη και να πάνε στην Αεροπορία.

Λίγο πριν παρουσιαστεί κάποιος στον Ελληνικό Στρατό (ΕΣ), κοιτάει να διασκεδάσει με τους φίλους του και σπάνια σκέφτεται ότι πρέπει να έχει κάποια πράγματα μαζί του τα οποία είναι ΕΝΤΕΛΩΣ απαραίτητα στις πρώτες του μέρες στο Κέντρο εκπαίδευσης όπου θα παρουσιαστεί. Κάτι επίσης συνηθισμένο είναι να πηγαίνει κάποιος στο Βαρδάρη (αν είναι Θεσσαλονικιός ή στο Μοναστηράκι κτλ κτλ) και να αγοράζει το πακέτο “επιβίωσης” του Νεοσύλλεκτου έτοιμο. Το τελευταίο δεν είνια και τόσο κακή ιδέα, αλλά δεν είναι συμφέρουσα από οικονομικής απόψεως.

Παραθέτω λοιπόν στο συγκεκριμένο χώρο τα βασικά πράγματα που πρέπει να έχει ένας νεοσύλλεκτος καθώς και αυτά που ΔΕΝ θα του χρειαστούν και δεν έχει νόημα να τα πάρει μαζί του.

ΝΑ ΕΧΕΙ:

1) Εσώρουχα και κάλτσες (τις πράσινες τις στρατιωτικές, περίπου 2 ευρώ το ζευγάρι)

2) Φανελάκια παραλλαγής (όσα περισσότερα, τόσο καλύτερα). Σου δίνει ο ΕΣ δύο (ένα φοράς, ενα πλένεις…)

3) Χαρτιά υγείας (Σου δίνουν ένα με το που φτάνεις αλλά καλό είναι να έχεις μαζί σου μία τετράδα)

4) Μαντιλάκια υγρά (antibacter), τα οποία σε σώζουν γιατί είσαι μονίμως στη γύρα και δεν μπορείς πάντα να πλένεσαι)

5) Νυχοκόπτη

6) Φακό

7) Λουκετάκια. Τουλάχιστον 5-6, αν γίνεται με το ίδιο κλειδάκι.

Σαμπουάν και ξυριστικά

9) Πάτους για τα άρβυλα. Αν γίνεται σιλικόνης (κοστίζουν πάνω από 20-30 ευρώ, αλλά τα αξίζουν τα λεφτά τους).

10) Λίγα χρήματα, καλό είναι σε κέρματα (τουλάχιστον 20-30 ευρώ σε κέρματα)

11) Ακτινογραφίες ή αποδεικτικά κάποιου προβλήματος υγείας, αν κάποιος θέλει να βγει μειωμένης ικανότητας (Γιωτάς)

Δεν έχει νόημα να έχει κανείς μαζί του:

1) Πολλά πολιτικά ρούχα. Μέχρι την ορκομωσία δεν χρειάζονται. Πιάνουν μόνο χώρο.

2) Υπερβολικά πολλά χρήματα ή (πιστωτικές) κάρτες.

3) Κινητά με φωτογραφική μηχανή. Θεωρητικά στα παίρνουν στην είσοδο. Αν σε πιάσουν να έχεις τέτοιο κινητό (τουλάχιστον ως νεοσύλλεκτος) τρως φυλακή. Στο ΚΕΥΠ Λαμίας (KEYP Town) είναι ταρίφα 10Φ.

4) IPOD etc. Οτιδήποτε χρειάζεται φόρτιση κάθε μέρα είναι δυσχρηστο και μόνο μπελάδες μπορεί να δημιουργήσει γιατί φοβάσαι μη στο κλέψουν. Καλύτερα τα mp3 players με μπαταρία.

5) Αθλητικά παπούτσις και παντόφλες σου δίνουν, αλλά και τα προσωπικά μπορεί να είναι χρήσιμα.

6) Γκόμενα που πρήζει και θέλει τηλεφωνάκι και μήνυμα κάθε ώρα…

7) Μπισκοτάκια κτλ κτλ, διοτί στο θάλαμο δεν αφήνουν να τα έχεις.

Την ημέρα της κατάταξης ο νεοσύλλεκτος κάνει ένα σωρό πράγματα, οπότε καλό είναι να παρουσιαστεί σχετικά νωρίς. Ούτε πρώτος πρώτος κατά τις 8 το πρωί, αλλά ούτε και τελευταίος γιατί τελειώνουν τα ρούχα και μέχρι να έρθουν καινούρια και να βρεις τα νουμερά σου ζορίζεσαι άσχημα.

Επετειακό POST

Με αφορμή τα τελευταία σχετικά άσχημα αποτελέσματα του παναθηναικού στο Ελληνικό Πρωτάθλημα και ειδικότερα μετά το αποτέλεσμα του αγώνα εναντίον του ηρακλή (2-2), μου ήρθε στο μυαλό το αποτέλεσμα του συγκεκριμένου αγώνα το 2005. Τότε που και πάλι το παιχνίδι είχε λήξει 2-2 και τότε που δόθηκε η πιό ιστορική συνέντευξη τύπου στα χρονικά του Ελληνικού Ποδοσφαίρου.

Παρακαλώ πολύ, ανοίξτε τέρμα τα ηχεία σας και ακούστε τον ανεπανάληπτο ALBERTO MALESANI…

Greek Coaches – Takis Lemonis

I was reading some days ago that Coach Panagiotis (Takis) Lemonis is unemployed and at the same time I read somewhere else that all the three big football clubs of Athens (Olympiakos, Panathinaikos and AEK) have problems and some of them are thinking of changing their actual trainer. Furthermore, I read that Lemonis was added to the already existing list of coaches that are the most possible to take the place of Carvalhal, who is the actual coach of Asteras Tripolis and he is also not doing well. Finally, I read something that I had even myself foreseen, that the Coach of Anorthosis, Timour Ketspallia, is very well seen by all three the presidents of the Athens Football clubs.

After I read all these things, it came in my mind that last year, at the 3rd of October, Olympiakos won 1-3 in Germany against Werder Bremen and some weeks later, he won also in Rome (1-2) against Lazio, managing that way to achieve something that for 11 years was not possible.

After this introduction, I can only wonder why noone wants to hire the coach of the successes of Olympiakos? I am wondering why all the big teams prefer to do experiments rather than going for the secure and well known solution. How is it possible that the best Greek Coach (based on results) is always unemployed? Should we also recall that Lemonis was among the really few coaches who took over Olympiakos but he did not have the chance to buy the players he wanted? How is it possible that Presidents of big teams prefer unknown trainers from abroad, they follow blindly their proposals and then the teams are loaded with useless players with royal contracts? Why do we see Oscar Gonzalez play and Gkalitsios and Mendrinos barely participate to the 18 players of each game’s formation?

Personally I like many of the choices that Valverde takes, but until now we only see a team that has Ups and Downs and not a constant performance. I do not want to criticise without arguments, but I want to see olympiakos play well and win. Always. At least with its current roster, in my opinion, there is no excuse if we do not qualify to the next round of the UEFA cup and if we do not win the championship.

And finally, and recalling what the title of this post is, I would like to see Lemonis in a big Greek club. If Kokkalis has in mind to change Valverde he knows pretty well which is the choice that he should make. As long as it is still available.

2010 World Cup

Greece started with a clear victory (0-3) in Luxembourg, but not many people were happy with the way we played. Same players, same tactics and the win was not so easy as the final score says. As long as we win it’s ok. We should not complain. But even a blindman can see that the National team of Greece has to change. Charisteas, that should always play no matter what, changed and he is now playing in the right part of the greek offense. A place that has never played in the past (I guess).

I am a bit sceptic because I watched also the game of Israel against Switzerland and I saw two fast and strong teams, that will not be easily defeated. Note that especially israelians need desperately to qualify to a world cup for the first time after 40 years and for them is the big chance. Furthermore, for some reason we consider Letonia and Moldavia easy rivals, but we have to pay too much attention against them as well (just mentioning that Letonia eliminated some years ago Turkey in knock-out games).

Let’s wait and see what will happen this wednesday and of course we trust Otto Rehaggel…
